The Dolly Mixture of Life
‘Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.’
― George Bernard Shaw
‘Rebel children, I urge you, fight the turgid slick of conformity with which they seek to smother your glory.’ ― Russell Brand
Man clings to man like a foetus to its mother’s muculent insides; tormented by the depravity of the unknown and of an outside abyss awaiting beyond the borders of experience, we clutch parasitically to the navel cord of uniformity tying us to our fellow being, we crave acceptance as we seep our grimy paws into society’s trough. Yet whilst we revel in that deliciously narcissistic saturnalia that is our womb-like human existence, we battle against ourselves, for inches beneath the outer mask of the human skin, lies the human soul – solitary in its oneness, decaying under the strain of the very thing it feeds off, that glutinous milk of conformity.
Earthly reveller, live as you ought – indulge in your own existence, free yourself from the trappings of the world of men, that belly button bound by bank notes and bylaws that we term society.
The Dolly Mixture of Life in Pictures…
‘To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.’
― Oscar Wilde
‘It takes billions of years to create a human being. And it takes only a few seconds to die.’
― Jostein Gaarder, Maya

I was accosted by an intense visual menagerie yet I couldn’t look away. The assortment of images makes one’s mind think then absorb the words: think, then dive off the cliff and suck in the air before you split the water and hear the silence.
Really cool blog. Thank you for sharing.
